As demand for more groups continued to grow, Hal leaned on lessons he had learned during his time with Young Life, especially the importance of training leaders who could multiply the impact of the ministry.

Developing men as leaders who could serve and strengthen the church became a central part of how future groups would grow.

The result was a real-life expression of Ephesians 4:12, "To equip His people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up."
