As a non-profit ministry, CLC is supported financially by the gifts and offerings of participants and others that believe in the importance of equipping men and growing leaders in Christ.

Gifts of Securities

Many people choose to use appreciated stock to make their gifts. A gift of appreciated stock allows donors to avoid the tax burden of capital gains and gives them a tax deduction for the fully appreciated amount. By giving low cost base stock or mutual funds, rather than selling the investment, you eliminate taxes due for the appreciated amount and benefit from the charitable deduction.
